ABOUT COVID-19

The following video is an example of the project

On December 31, 2019, as most countries around the world were preparing for the New Year, the Wuhan China Municipal Health Commission reported a series of pneumonia cases in the city. On January 4, 2020, the World Health Organization reported on social media that there was a group of pneumonia cases in Wuhan, China - without death - and on January 5, the organization finally announced the first official news of the outbreak of a new virus called Covid released 19 and that was the beginning of a struggle, a struggle for life!

More than a year has passed since this struggle, and the world continues to live with a new lifestyle, the Corona lifestyle. So far, many people have been infected with the corona virus. Many have died but have recovered, and unfortunately some have lost their lives. To this end, many statistics have been published about this virus. Statistics that help us better understand the behavior of the corona and the performance of different countries in combating it. Corona is perhaps the most practical statistical example of the century.

In this regard, I have also tried to provide some statistical analysis of my contribution, with the help of some numerical information from coronary patients. This information is obtained from three databases including the total number of coronary heart disease, recovery and death, which by comparing them in different forms, can give a better understanding of the one-year performance of the coronavirus.

"About Covid-19" is the name I have chosen for this project. In this project, coronary data from 190 different countries, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, are analyzed from January 22 to December 12, 2020. The general approach of the program is to create a series of general functions and then use these functions for different countries. This simple method creates a dynamic and flexible program; That is, the written functions can be used to statistically examine all countries in the world at any date after the spread of the virus.

Among the project features, the following can be mentioned:

  1. Comprehensive numerical statistics, including global statistics as well as separate statistics for each country:

  • Total& new Statistics {Patients, Recovered and Death}

  • Rational statistics

2. Graph charts, which are mainly divided into bar and line charts.

 - Bar graph :

  • Ranking of countries based on the highest number of {sufferers, recovered and dead}

  • Investigating the proportion of patients, recoveries and deaths of countries in a single chart

  • Overall ranking of countries based on their performance in the face of the corona virus (ratio of the total number of infected people in each country to their population)

  • Production of concept animations of the outbreak of coronavirus in different countries (from the date of outbreak to the end of 2020)

  • Examining the trend of changes} patients, recovered and dead} new in each country in different time periods

- Linear graph:

  • Global virus growth chart as well as starting point of the corona epidemic

  • Corona prevalence chart for each country separately

  • Comparison of growth trends {Patients, recovered and dead} in a chart (global and national)

  • Examining the trend of new changes {infected, recovered and dead} each country from the beginning of the virus outbreak until now
